10 reasons why you should consider defriending me.

1. I hate Jane Austen
No, really, I do. I feel this has to be at the top of my list as there are two types of people in the world. Those that like U2.. Wait, that's point two. Honestly, the woman drives me mad. The only book of hers I enjoy reading is Persuasion. I feel peple would be better off reading Gaskell's North and South than any Austen, ever.

2. U2 are my favourite band
Beyonf the Pixies, beyond the Cure, beyond the Killers, there is and has always been U2. Yes, the new album leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, they've changed over the years. Yes, Bono can be a sanctimonious bastard. But no one can take away from me what it was to watch the laserdisc of Under a Blood Red Sky when I was 8. Nor can they take away seeing the Rattle and Hum tour, nor many tours later. I love them and will always do so. There's nothing you can do about it

3. The Montreal Canadiens are the best sports team ever
Alright, so maybe not the best sports team, but I grew up loving them. Why? My dad liked the Canadiens and as such I was a fan. I'll just say to all of those leafs fans out there, that at least my team has won a cup in my lifetime

4. I mock the things I love
From people to fandoms, if I love you, I'll tease you. I think it's put best in the words of my friend Vlad 'if we didn't like you, we'd ignore you.'

5. I think Oz Top Model and Oz Project Runway are two of the best shows on telly
I don't know that there's any explanation for this, but it's how it is. The first has none of the OMG TYRA about it, and the latter lacks Tim Gunn, but they make my life.

6. I have sister-wives
Yes, you read that correctly. No, we aren't married to the same man. But it comes from a joke about us standing in as the other's SO and went from there. But I do not know what I'd do without Keira and Anna, honestly. They are so important in my life and I love them to death.

7. I'm in a medieval re-creation group
Yes, you read that right. I make medieval clothing and go to events where we all play at being people from pre-1600 society. I love it, and I take it far too seriously.

8. I love steampunk
No, really, I'm about to embark on an adventure that involves me learning how to make steampunk accessories and weapons. How can you dislike this genre? I don't know.

9. I like RPS
In fact, I have an epic GG RPS in the works. Over 10,000 words and I'm still going on it, my longest fic to date.

10. I refuse to feel shame about music I love
From Lady Gaga to the Charlatans, what I love is what I love. Accept and adjust. That's all there is to it.
